Hi Lemon Zesters,

 

Just an update on the exciting Lemon Zest groups and activities that are happening:

 

Our very first after work drinks are happening this Friday - 6.30pm at the Piano Bar of the Carrington Hotel, Katoomba Street, Katoomba.  Hope to see you there.

 

If you wish to join a table for the trivia night organised by the Blue Mountains Women's Health Centre on Friday, 1 May, contact Jay at jjgreenaways@bigpond.com.

 

The reading/book discussion group is having their first meet on Saturday evening, 2 May 2009.  For information contact Margot at mmck00@optusnet.com.au. 

 

The Games Group is having their first get together on Friday 8th May, in Blackheath.  To find out more phone Sally on 0419 551474.

 

The Writing Group is already under way.  To find out about them, contact Mala on malaljh@dodo.com.au.

REAL: Milk at the Uni/movies

MILK starring Sean Penn is the story of how.... His life changed history.His courage changed lives.
In 1977,Harvey Milk was elected to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors,becoming the first openly gay man to be voted into public office in America.His victory was not just a victory for gay rights;he forged coalitions across the political spectrum.

Milk charts the last eight years of Harvey Milk's life.

Milk will be  following a screening of The Tale of Despereaux,which starts at 7pm.Milk will probably start around 9pm.The full price standard Unimovies ticket is to both movies and can be pre-bought from the Unishop.or at the door box office on the night.Doors open at 6.30pm,first in best seats

REAL: Anzac Day get together

This email is to invite all of REAL Group to my house on anzac day for
a get together,
it will be a dinnertime thing and you are welcome to treat it as a
slumber party also.

i have 2 double beds (sofa beds) which can accommodate some women and
please book early for the beds. you are also welcome to pitch tents in
my backyard. you can bring your dogs. interested parties should bring
a smallish dish of food to share and yes kids are welcome. my adress
is 21 fords road thirroul. (am on the corner of hicks road. i have a
2meter high picket fence along the front of the house. my phone number

my intention is for us to enjoy life and gently reflect on all women
and girls who have served in wars and/or have been victims of wars.
