Join us for a short but medium grade walk down to the eerie but lovely Dante's Glen, follow the creek down through Empire Pass around the base of Echo Bluff, then gently acsend again via Frederica Falls to the start. This will be a 8 km round trip of about 3-4 hours.
This walk is graded medium due to some steps down into Dante's Glen and possible slippery creek crossings due to the recent rains. However the Falls will be spectacular!
Meet: 9:30am in the carpark next to the Lawson Bowling Club, Badgery Crescent, North Lawson.
Short walk to the start of the track through sleepy sunday suburban Lawson.
Bring the usual gear including wet weather (or swimmers!) and a large morning tea/nibbles/snacks and water.
Optional lunch/coffee available at 2FD Cafe in Lawson at the conclusion of the walk, otherwise it's home with feet up in front of the fire for the afternoon.
