The Open Mic went off, lots of local women turned up to support the first REAL event. There were performances to entice, rock and wow the audience. Min and Inni kicked it of with beautiful songs, Von did a Drag King act and Tania and Von did a butch Femme skit. Tania read some sezy poetry. People got up from the audience and blew the audience away with there talents. Thanks to those who made the night a success and yhose who volunteered to perform at the next one.

Introducing 'REAL' - Illawarra

My name is Tania, I was a facilitator with WLDI(Wollongong Lesbian Drop In) a few years ago. The WLDI has been overhauled with new energy, hence REAL came into being!
I will be facilitating REAL and providing support for lesbians by organising social activities and events for our community. The name has changed to reflect a our vision amongst our community. REAL stands for Respect & Equality Amongst Lesbians - Illawarra.

Moving into the 21st century with technology, this blogg will act like a news letter. It will post lesbian social and community events as they arise.
